Lena Headey is an English actress and film producer. Her roles include the series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Game of Thrones, and White House Plumbers; the films The Summer House, Waterland, The Remains of the Day, The Jungle Book (1994), Mrs Dalloway (1997), Ripley’s Game, The Brothers Grimm, Imagine Me & You, 300, and its follow-up, 300: Rise of an Empire, Dredd, The Purge, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and Fighting with My Family; and voice-over performances in the series Danger Mouse, Tales of Arcadia, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Infinity Train, and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.
She was born in Bermuda, to English parents, Sue and John Headey, a police officer. Her family moved to England during her early childhood, and she was raised in Somerset, and later Shelley, West Yorkshire. Lena is married to American actor, writer, and director Marc Menchaca. She has a son with her former husband, musician Peter Loughran; and a daughter with filmmaker Dan Cadan.
