Publish date: 2024-06-22

Natasha Oakley is spreading a message of self-love – in her swimsuit. The model and swimwear designer shared a bunch of bathing suit snaps taken over the years to demonstrate a point – that her body has changed so many times but she loves herself nonetheless. "10 years of wearing bikinis on instagram and my body has changed so many times ✨✨ In the words of Kourtney Kardashian 'If I'm super skinny you know I'm not happy' – this rings true for me. All of the times I have been my thinnest I have been stressed, overworked, in a toxic relationship or going through a hard time," she wrote. "Nothing feels better than embracing my natural curves and knowing that 'perfect' doesn't exist. There's so much to be admired about social media but it can also be so deceiving, remember not to be hard on yourself and to love your body and your life, after all you only have one of them, what's the point in doing anything but?" "My diet changed my skin," Natasha declared to Porter, "no matter how many creams I use, the biggest positive difference I have ever seen in my skin is when I changed how I ate." She focuses on eating clean and only eating animals that swim. "I'm a pescatarian, love eating vegetables and drink plenty of water to flush out toxins. I'm lucky that I actually crave a salad every day and never want a soda."

Nathasha works out regularly. "I don't feel guilty if I skip a workout because I know I eat well and will train that much harder the next day. If I don't do any exercise I'll at least do some stretching," she told Porter. "I workout 3-4 times a week using the Body By Gilles program. My ex-boyfriend [Gilles Souteyrand] created it; he's an incredible trainer and it's just a 30-minute workout to fit into your schedule."

Natasha is all about self-care and her go-to method is a bath. "A bath is my therapy," she told Porter. "It's so important to me that even when I travel, I only book hotel rooms that have a tub. I travel with Epsom bath salts and Aromatherapy Associates bath oils. Traveling on a plane all the time gives me such bad, achy joints that it's a great way to relax."

Natasha is all about 20-minute HIIT training workouts. "My routine is warming up on the treadmill for 20 minutes, including sprinting, and then a mixture of core, arms, butt and legs," she told Women's Health UK

Natasha isn't a big drinker. She told Women's Health, "alcohol is the one thing that I think really makes me gain weight because you're not aware of how many calories you're taking in."

"Life's too short to be worried about something that is not worth worrying about. I mean, the thing is everyone is completely different shapes and sizes. I think that as long as you're healthy and happy, that is a gift and something that you should feel so lucky and appreciative for. As long as you're working out and doing the right thing by your body, you should always feel confident within yourself. And if you're not, then perhaps that is a reason that you're not feeling as confident as you could," Tash told Buro. "I think that's where you actually find your confidence: through doing things that make you feel good within yourself. There's a lot more to life than just your physical appearance – being positive and embracing life for what it is is the most amazing thing you could ever do for yourself."
