Paul Revere Steps Into Producer Role For The Raiders

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — After decades of touring Paul Revere, the legendary frontman of The Raiders, will be handing off his tri-cornered hat and stepping back from his active role in the band.

The group will continue to tour under the new moniker of Paul Revere's Raiders, with a lineup that includes long-time members, Doug Heath, Ron Foos, and Danny Krause.

Also rejoining the band is Paul Revere's son Jamie Revere; singer/impressionist and former 10-year member of the Lettermen, Darren Dowler; and rounding out the new lineup will be veteran drummer Tommy Scheckel, who toured with The Buckinghams for 27 years.

Paul Revere will continue to serve as a creative force for the group he helped to found, acting as a executive producer for the show.
