Sofia doesn't follow trends when it comes to her health. "Well, I feel like you have to do what works for you. That's when you really find what makes your look, because I think all of this is just to enhance and make you feel better and look better. I don't feel like you need to be doing what everybody's doing, because it's not going to work for you. You have to find the things that look good on you and stick to it," she recently told Harper's Bazaar.
Sofia recently revealed her coffee order to E! News: "Black coffee. Colombian, of course!" she told them. According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are several benefits of drinking coffee in moderation. "It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function," they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. Vergara doesn't skip breakfast. "I grab a quick breakfast. I usually prepare it the night before. One of my favorites is a kind of homemade muesli made of Greek yogurt, oats, chia seeds, nuts, and blueberries," she told Glamour.
Sofia has a favorite workout. "My go-to workout is a Pilates workout on the Lagree Fitness Megaformer machine," she told Glamour. According to research, Pilates exercises are designed to increase muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility, and to improve posture and balance. Experts maintain that it is a great workout for leaning out.
Vergara also loves to cycle. "I also mix in spinning classes for cardio a couple of times per week," she told Glamour. Vergara exercises three or four times a week with a trainer. "Joe built a very nice gym in the house, so I don't have any excuses," she told Women's Health. However, "it's like torture" for her. "I'm in a bad mood two hours before, I'm in a bad mood while I'm doing it, I'm in a bad mood at the end because I have to schedule the next class," she confessed.
