Przystal shared some of her fitness secrets in an interview with Women's Health. She says that she will always make time for a workout. "I usually exercise in the morning," Przystal said. "But I switch it up – either in the morning before work or the evening. When I do it in the evening, it's because I missed the morning workout."
In her interview with Women's Health, Przystal revealed that she loves doing HIIT, or high-intensity interval training. "I do really high-intensity interval workouts," she said. "It's either the treadmill or the assault bike, and I do lots of squats, weights, and functional training. It's anything and everything, basically."
Przystal doesn't always work out on her own. She revealed in her Women's Health interview that she will exercise with some of her fellow professional dancers on Strictly Come Dancing. "I love to work out with my friends Gorka and Karen," she says. "We'll do it online now as we all have the same kind of workout machines. Gorka will set up a workout for us to all do together." Better Health states that working out with others has a lot of benefits. "Exercising with a friend or loved one can make it more fun, and increase your chances of sticking to your exercise plan. Exercising with a friend is a great way to keep you motivated. It's also a great way to meet new people. It can even save you money."
Przystal revealed in an interview with Express that she loves to walk to stay in shape. "I work out and you get those endorphins," she said. "If you don't like working out, then just go for a walk. I think it's so important for your mental health. Obviously, if I'm in a positive vibe I have a different type of energy." According to The Cleveland Clinic, walking has a lot of health benefits. "The benefits of walking for 30 minutes a day include decreasing your resting heart rate, lowering your blood pressure and LDL (your 'bad' cholesterol), and strengthening your heart."
Przystal is a dancer, and this is naturally one way she stays in shape. Dancing has a lot of benefits. The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas states that, "If you're at risk for cardiovascular disease – start dancing. More research has shown that people with heart failure who started waltzing not only improved their heart health and breathing, but they also saw overall improvement in their quality of life. Additionally, these improvements were significantly greater than those with heart failure who cycled, or walked on a treadmill. If you need to lose weight, it's also been proven that aerobic dancing is as helpful for losing weight as biking or running."
