Tom Hiddlestons not a homewrecker, he waited until Elizabeth Olsen was single

A week ago, we had the first photos of Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen out and about in London as a couple. The photo-op came months after Us Weekly first reported that Tommy and Lizzie were a couple, and Us Weekly followed up their initial story by having one source claim: “They’ve been talking constantly. It’s been good for the both of them, they really care for each other. Neither of them are looking to jump into a large commitment, but it’s getting more serious.” The vibe from Us Weekly’s sources has always been that this is a 2015 thing, that Tom and Elizabeth met last year while filming I Saw the Light but they didn’t start dating until after she was done with Boyd Holbrook. Now Star Magazine (hmm…) has a source claiming that Tom was very conscious of Olsen’s relationship with Holbrook, and he waited like a gentleman until the very second she was single.

Costars Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston have gone from onscreen husband and wife to real-life lovers. On July 23, the cozy couple took in a performance of Bradley Cooper’s The Elephant Man in London before having a romantic dinner at The Wolseley restaurant. “It’s been only a few months but they spend every second together,” a source tells Star. “Elizabeth’s the happiest she’s been in a long time.” Sparks reportedly flew on the ‘I Saw the Light’ set but Elizabeth was engaged to Boyd Holbrook at the time.

“Tom’s not the sort to go for someone else’s girl, so he waited until he heard her relationship was over,” says a close pal of the Avengers star. “Then he called her that very day.”

Yes, Tommy would never be a dirty homewrecker! He would never start bangin’ some other man’s fiancée, right? Never. Not perfect Tommy. And if you believe that… well, bless you. I tend to believe that they probably did hook up last year on-set and Tom is probably one of several “reasons” why Olsen and Holbrook’s engagement was called off. But I also believe that it’s not like Olsen dumped Holbrook FOR Tom. Anyway… we’ll see.
